Workmanship Guarantee Coverage :
TextaTradesman.ie Ltd Guarantees the workmanship on jobs that came through textatradesman.ie and are carried out by any of its member’s The guarantee covers their WORKMANSHIP i.e. if you feel a door is not hung correctly and or the kitchen work top is not fitted right etc. then please take the steps below.
Step 1 You notifiy the member immediately of your dissatisfaction should the member not agree that the workmanship is not up to standard you must give the member 8 hours to put it right in the mean time the member will then send a full report to customer care they will then will come straight into action and ask you to send a short explanation of the works and your dissatisfaction accompanied with photographs of the works please send them to: help@Textatradesman.ie
Step 2 Our in house surveyors will look at the photos and make an assessment and pass it to customer care they will then review both parties version’s and send a report out to both parties with their findings. If any one of the parties is not satisfied with the findings, then our surveyor will visit the site
Step 3 Arrangement’s will be made for the surveyor to look at the works there will be a fee of £50 from both parties for the assessment . Should the member be at fault they will have 8 hours to remedy the problem, failing that our customer care team will arrange for any faulty workmanship to be put right and your £50 fee refunded.
Please understand, on this website we have terms and conditions of how you should operate with the contractor. A small example: If the contractor has painted your wall green and it was suggested the wall should have been painted cream, this is a negotiation between yourselfs also any other issues such as personality clashes i.e. he parked in your drive and went to the shop and you cold not get your car out. A lot of these things come into how disputes arise BUT workmanship is what we cover.
Please don’t worry as our strict vetting procedure and our experience in the business avoids 95% of most potential issues,however there is always that chance of a small element creeping in through BUT if they do, they’ll soon be on there way. And please note that no other company offers anything like this. Ask any of the trade associations or trade site if they will recitfy the work on any of the tradespeople they have check, recommend, rated or trusted.
On projects over £5,000 we will only give a workmanship warranty using a time lapse recording software this is also a great record of any works that have been carried out at the property if you ever put it on the market, also it is added extra security whilst tradesmen are on and off site.
Time lapse videos don’t necessarily have to be on just large projects such as big conversions and extensions, as we also cater for smaller projects such as bathroom and kitchen refurbishments and roofing ect .
How it works for small projects such as those, we send you 2 wireless cameras by courier and you can log into our server using your phone, alternatively we can give you a USB cable to upload it to your PC or mobile device.
There is a cost involved on both projects, for larger refurbishments i.e. jobs over £5,000 the cost is £320 which is split between yourself and the contractor for the smaller jobs it’s only £75 split between you and the contractor.

Disputes and complaints will arise when building projects are in progress, there is not one dispute or complaint that I’ve never come across, I’ve heard and seen them all. In all my history it’s very rare that I’ve heard complaints about any of my contractors or tradesmen’s workmanship, I pick only the best,
But I can go wrong ,the plasterer has had a bad day, the customer has had a bad day, this can lead to problems which can then escalate into a conflict and the complaints start to fly.there’s nothing I can do about that, that’s human nature but bad workmanship can be rectified and that’s what we do best customer care.

Settlement of Claim: Any repairs made by Textatradesman.ie LTD pursuant to Section 1 of this document shall constitute a full settlement and release of all claims of any covered person/entity hereunder for damages or other relief and shall be a complete bar to any litigation filed subsequently to the covered person/entity’s acceptance of such an agreements
